Behind the scenes: Opéra Garnier #1


Recently I was invited to a behind-the-scenes look at Charles Garnier's Second Empire masterpiece and setting for the 1910 novel, The Phantom of the Opera.

The Paris Opera House is an almost direct walk down this sloping street off rue des Abbesses.
