Village des artistes #1

Village des artistes
The artists who made Montmartre famous didn't just fade away. They left their mark in many ways and some, like Pablo Picasso, left descendants. On Monday, a peek into some of the ateliers of today's working artists, our neighbors, our friends.
Above: graffiti on the side of former studio-residence of painter Gen Paul, born on rue Lepic and considered a precursor to the abstract expressionists of the 1950s
