Wine (and food) Wednesday

 

An unexpected gem in a medieval village in the Dordogne on our last night.

Above: fine regional wine (Bergerac); country bread w/local walnut oil for dipping

Below: off-menu sharing tataki appetizer of smoked magret de canard; ballotine of chicken w/truffle, sweet potato purée w/walnut oil
